Documentation
UXUY Perp
A non-custodial interface for perpetual markets powered by Lighter data.
No Lighter order placement, signer, API credentials, or real-money integration is implemented. The disabled order panel is intentional. Re-check documentation before enabling execution.
01
Overview
UXUY Perp brings perpetual market data, interactive charts, and key market metrics into one focused workspace.
UXUY Perp is an interface, not an exchange. UXUY Perp does not hold your funds or request your seed phrase or private keys.
Follow BTC, ETH, and SOL, compare market activity, and move from an overview to detailed price action without losing context.

How It Works
Lighter is a zk-rollup exchange architecture: deposits and withdrawals settle on-chain, while orders are matched off-chain and state transitions are verified on-chain.
Connect and create
Users create a main account by signing with an Ethereum wallet; multiple sub-accounts may be linked to that wallet. The account index is a Lighter integer identifier; one L1 wallet may have multiple indices.
Associate a key
Each API key has a public/private key and nonce. Keys are generated locally, then associated with the Lighter account through an L1 wallet transaction or the smart contract ChangePubKey.
Trade on Lighter
Signed requests are verified against the key and associated account. Deposits and withdrawals remain on-chain; matching happens off-chain.
“The relevant Chain IDs for the Lighter app-chain are: 304 (mainnet), 300 (testnet).”
03
Non-Custodial Signing
Model 1 — Client-side signing. Transaction signing happens on the user's device. No UXUY server holds your private key.
This package ships with no API clients, no storage, no crypto, and no signers. The host application injects all of them at boot.
The official client-side core specifies transaction signing as “WASM on web, native on mobile.” Signer operations include signCreateOrder, signCancelOrder, signModifyOrder, signWithdraw, signTransfer, and signChangePubKey.
This is safer than routing keys through an application server because there is no server-side key vault to expose. A wallet connection shares your public address; it does not reveal your seed phrase or private key.
Model 1 is feasible at the architecture level, but is not ready for real UI, real trading, or real signing in this application. Account/API-key generation, key custody/storage policy, the wallet signature/ChangePubKey sequence, CORS/API submission, and production WASM bundling still require end-to-end verification.

Fees
Fees have two separate parts. The protocol/base trading fee is charged by Lighter for the account tier. The integrator fee is an additional partner-attribution fee approved by the client.
The Partner Attribution global limits are separate from exchange base trading fees. The per-order integrator maker/taker fee cannot exceed the client's approval.
| Tier | Maker | Taker | Additional detail |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 0% | 0% | Default. Attribution trades and new integrator approvals are rejected for Standard from 14 Sep 2026. |
| Premium | 0.0040% baseline | 0.0280% baseline | Opt-in; LIT-staking discounts reach 0.0028% / 0.0196% at 500,000 LIT. |
| Plus | 0.005% (0.5 bps) | 0.005% (0.5 bps) | Opt-in via changeAccountTier; “latency-insensitive” tier. |
UXUY Perp integrator fees
| Order type | UXUY Perp fee |
|---|---|
| Maker | 0% |
| Taker | 0.025% (2.5 bps) |
These are UXUY Perp's additional integrator fees, separate from Lighter's base trading fees above. Real execution is Coming Soon, so UXUY Perp does not currently charge these fees; paper trading remains fee-free.
Perpetual partner fees are capped at 10 bps, with a minimum increment of 0.01 bps. Before fees can be attached to orders, the client must submit ApproveIntegrator for UXUY Perp's IntegratorAccountIndex, with maximum maker/taker fees and an optional expiry. Because UXUY's taker fee is non-zero, each client account used for the live flow must be Plus or Premium under Lighter's current rules; the client/account owner must change its own tier via changeAccountTier. The docs do not state a Plus/Premium setup fee, subscription fee, KYC gate, or manual whitelist.
With the current UXUY fee, the Lighter Core total is 0.005% maker / 0.030% taker on Plus, or 0.0040% maker / 0.0530% taker on baseline Premium. The Robinhood Chain page lists different Premium base fees (0.0120% maker / 0.0350% taker below $1M last-14-day volume), so deployment-specific totals must be confirmed before quoting users.
Verification note: The high-level Partner Attribution page broadly says Standard attribution trades and new Standard approvals are rejected from 14 Sep 2026, while the detailed integration guide specifically describes non-zero-fee approvals/trades. UXUY's non-zero-fee flow is affected; zero-fee tracking-only attribution needs confirmation from Lighter.
05
Supported Markets
UXUY Perp currently follows three perpetual markets. More markets will be added as coverage expands.
- BTCBitcoin
- ETHEthereum
- SOLSolana
Live market lists are dynamic. Use Lighter's orderBookDetails endpoint rather than hard-coding the documentation's test-network table as the production list.
06
Risks
Perpetual contracts are leveraged products. Price movements and funding costs can lead to losses, including liquidation and the loss of your entire margin.
Displayed data is for market research, not investment advice or a guaranteed execution price. Check data freshness and the applicable venue's contract specifications, fees, and funding terms before making a trading decision.
UXUY Perp depends on Lighter's public API and streaming feed. A dash or an unavailable message means the feed is missing, stale, or disconnected. Historical candles may remain visible during an interruption.

FAQ
How do I deposit funds?
Coming Soon. Real deposits are not enabled while UXUY Perp remains in read-only and paper-trading mode. When live, deposits will go from your wallet to Lighter's contracts; UXUY Perp will not hold your funds.
Do I need KYC?
UXUY Perp does not collect KYC. Any identity or eligibility requirement would come from Lighter under its own current terms.
Can UXUY Perp see or hold my funds?
No. UXUY Perp is non-custodial and does not hold your funds. Connecting a wallet only shares its public address; it does not move funds or authorize orders.
Where are my signing keys stored?
Real signing is Coming Soon, so UXUY Perp does not currently generate or store trading keys. The planned non-custodial signer will operate in your browser, and your private signing material will not be sent to a UXUY server.
Which markets are supported?
BTC, ETH, and SOL are currently supported, with more planned. Visit Markets to see current data.
