Make informed decisions

Understand the market. Know the risks.

Perpetual contracts are leveraged products. Price movements and funding costs can lead to losses, including liquidation and the loss of your entire margin.

Displayed data is for market research, not investment advice or a guaranteed execution price. Check data freshness and the applicable venue's contract specifications, fees, and funding terms before making a trading decision.

A few straightforward answers

What can I do with UXUY Perp?

Monitor BTC, ETH, and SOL perpetual markets, compare key statistics, and explore candlestick charts across four timeframes. Use Markets for an overview or open the terminal for paper trading with demo balances. Real order placement, deposits, and withdrawals are not enabled.

Is the trading panel real?

No. It is a simulation with demo balances and Lighter market data; no real funds or wallet are used. Each demo account starts with $1,000 in demo USD. Profits are locked demo balances, cannot be withdrawn, and cannot be used as margin. Fills use the last price with no fees, funding or slippage and simplified liquidation. Demo balances are not real money and cannot be transferred to a wallet. Positions are checked against fresh prices only while the page is open; this is not financial advice.

Do I need to connect a wallet?

No. Market data and charts are accessible without a wallet. You can connect a supported browser wallet from the terminal; connecting shares your public address but does not move funds or authorize orders. Never share your seed phrase or private keys.

Where do prices and charts come from?

UXUY Perp reads market data from Lighter's public API and streaming feed. The main price is the latest reported trade price; candlesticks show open, high, low, and close prices for the selected interval. These prices are market references, not executable quotes.

How should I read the market statistics?

24H CHANGE is the daily percentage change reported by the data source, not a change calculated from when you opened the page. Volume shows reported 24-hour turnover in USD, while open interest describes outstanding contracts. Funding displays the last reported value, estimate, and timestamp without converting them into an annualized rate. Refer to the venue's contract specifications for units and settlement terms.

Why might a value or chart be unavailable?

A dash or an unavailable message means the feed is missing, stale, or disconnected. Market statistics older than 15 seconds are treated as unavailable rather than shown as current. Check the connection indicator and wait for the feed to recover; historical candles may remain visible during an interruption.

How do I change the market or chart timeframe?

Select BTC, ETH, or SOL in the terminal, or search by symbol or name on the Markets page. Use the 15m, 1H, 4H, and 1D controls above the chart to change the candle interval. Each interval represents the duration of one candle, not the total chart history.
